Great – I can’t attend. It is the same week as ACM sigcomm in Budapest.
I know wenjing can attend. Let me see if it is ok to have someone else also attend with him.
And I live in NJ! Oh well.
Do you know when there will be weekly calls?
Thank You,
Margaret Chiosi

Hello, I am Tianji Jiang from the China Mobile Research, located in Milpitas, CA. Our team have been doing R&D on the edge-computing area and closely watching the progress of the AKRAINO project. I just learned this meeting scheduled in AT&T lab on this coming Thursday/Friday (08/23, 08/24) from my colleague in China Mobile. I am very interested and want to attend the meeting. However, when I went to the registration website, it is showing the registration is full currently. So, I am directly writing this email to your attention and hope you could help me register for the meeting. As you may know, as the largest mobile provider in the world (close to ~ 930 Million subscribers), we China Mobile are very committed to the edge-computing. Further, my colleagues have attended the AKRAINO meeting scheduled in Oregon Intel campus in this past May (2018/05). One of my team mates has registered for this week’s AKRAINO meeting in AT&T, and we want to attend together. Both of us are in the Silicon Valley and actively working in the edge-computing area. Given the more popularity and attraction of the AKRAINO project in edge-computing, we want to explore further the progress of the project so that we can participate more actively in the community. Thank you in advance for the registration help.
